Holiday Decorations Empty Holiday Decorations

Yup, I added some holiday decorations with some Javascript codes forumotion gave me! If it makes your computer lag, please message me and I'll take some of them off, if not, all. ^^; I want this forum running smoothly, and these decorations are just a privilege Wink

Anyways, in order of making a shiny new topic, what are your favorite holiday decorations your family might put up? My mother always puts up these chibi reindeer pictures and not one, but two Christmas trees. >.< She's so glad when she takes them down though, it's downright strange.

Gah, I'm going off topic. Just answer the question Razz

I nestled my Rarity near the top of my tree, and our tiny wooden Christmas train is in front of the TV.

Otherwise, my brother's girlfriend and I were in charge of decoration so we just threw tinsel everywhere and called it a job done. x33

[I like when me and my mom put the star on the tree. Well, it's not really a star, it's kinda a spire thing x3 But this year we didn't get to because my step-sister did.. o3o It's okay though, there's always next year. And the design is super cute! ^-^ It's so festive ]
[Edit - @PyteroChicken xD That sounds so fun =^w^=] Fun, you say? Where is this so called fun? May I be a part of it?

A good time? That does indeed sound fun.. *traditional Canterlot voice* We remember when we last celebrated Hearth's Warming Eve. We ask, how has it changed?

*Intimidated by loud noises? Not when Hearth's Warming Eve is involved!* I don't know what is was like in those times, Princess, but I sure know about it now!

You see, first thing we do is put up decorations. Everywhere. Like these! *Presents to the Princess some baubles, tinsel and miscellaneous tiny figurines for her to inspect* And pine trees, we bring them into our cities and homes and decorate them, too, so that we can get into the Hearth's Warming Eve spirit! We even decorate the skies with fireworks, Princess, and your night makes everything look so perfect. And not only do we make everything look pretty, we make it -sound- pretty. Have you heard the carols? Singing together just envelops everypony in this lovely feeling of togetherness!

Also important is food. So much food. Did you have feasts in the older times, Princess? We eat lots of goodies like gingerbread cookies and eggnog and fruit cakes and candy canes! I always look forward to the food that the markets sell at this time of the year. We gather all of our friends and relatives and have a great big feast and we talk and laugh.

Last but not least, there are presents. Hearth's Warming Eve is meant to celebrate the coming together of all ponies, right? So giving each other thoughtful gifts helps to spread the kindness! We wrap them up in colourful paper so that their identity is kept a secret until the day itself, and we put them under the aforementioned pine trees!

*Stops for a short breather* It's such a lovely holiday, Princess.

[Holy crow. Tl;dr? Hearth's Warming Eve is awesome.]

*she stares quietly at the small objects placed in front of her, noticing one from times long ago. The small, but bright figure of the Fire of Friendship. It was un-traditional to decorate the tree without one. She then turned her attention back to the pony standing in front of her, speaking about the newer traditions* Thank you for explaining that to us- I mean me. We did have trees, and we did sing carols, and we did have feasts, but none seem as glorious as they do now! *her eyes gleamed with excitement as she talked. A huge smile emerged on her face* *traditional Canterlot voice* We thank thee, young Pterochicken. We will make sure your presents are double the fun!!

I'm so glad you like it all, Princess! We all are! The celebration this year will be the best yet, for the Princess of the Night can join us! *She just can't contain her glee and does a small jig in front of the Princess. How undignified. But so much fun*

*She softly laughs at the young pony filled with excitement, but then remembers something* It is my job to raise the moon every night, so you may not see me that much. I will try my best to attend all the parties, but keep in mind that my royal duties shall have to be carried out first. Or else there will be no, what are they, fire sparks? To be seen.
